This high tech display case allows to display a video on the surface of a sphere both inside and outside. Therefore it becomes possible to see a video before and behind the watch presented in the center of the sphere.

To achieve this, a ring with 480 LEDs (240 on each side), each offering 262,144 colors, rotates at 20 revolutions per second allowing a refresh rate of 40 frames per second.

This offers many features such as enlightening the watch without seeing the source.

The Sphere project was presented at Hublot during the 2011 BaselWorld.
