Mémoire du Vin is the first original brand with the by FiveCo signature. It was launched in 2009 and encompasses a collection of unique and exclusive pieces dedicated to the passion of wine: a wine cellar manager in oak, with a limited version in carbon, and the wine case

Thanks to this original and innovative brand, FiveCo wanted to go the limits of their passion for innovation and prove that a firm of engineers could harbor creativity without compromise.

Antoine Lorotte, the director of FiveCo, was the initiator of this project that required more than three years’ developing. His intuition was “to create a tool that would allow people to identify a wine, to know the contents of their cellar, its value, and give it the prestige of a true heritage.” The teams of FiveCo got to work, and thus was born the first piece of the brand: “a wooden monolith in oak – a kind of sculpture, at the same time modern and high-tech, with readers in the form of rings and a touchscreen.” You only need to attach a ring to the bottles to memorize each of your “grands crûs”. They are then registered in the system. This means you can manage your wine collection easily and from a distance, because it is accessible via internet.

This piece marries simplicity of form, design and technological sophistication, all the demands that make up the know-how of by FiveCo.
